Junk and Debris Removal in Chattanooga, TN

Junk and Debris Removal · Chattanooga, TN

Junk, debris and cleanout piles hauled away

Junk removal is the part of a project nobody wants to do. Three Crosses Land Services hauls it off for you with the dump trailer. Old furniture, appliances, yard waste, brush piles and cleanout piles all go on the trailer. You point at what goes, we do the lifting and loading, and estimates are free.

Most of our junk removal calls start the same way. A garage or shed filled up over the years, or a storm dropped limbs across the yard. A contractor finished a remodel and left the scrap behind the garage. That pile sits there because moving it means a truck, a trailer and a trip to the dump.

We handle junk hauling and debris removal on its own or as the last step of bigger work. Brush left over from tree and shrub removal needs somewhere to go, and the trailer takes it in loads. Three Crosses Land Services is a veteran-owned family business based just north of Chattanooga. Our service area runs about 40 miles out, across Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia.

What we haul away

Household junk makes up most of what goes out on the trailer. Couches, mattresses, dressers, tables, bags of clothes and boxes of things nobody has opened in years. Appliances come out too, like a washer, dryer, refrigerator or an old water heater. Leave the heavy pieces where they sit, because the lifting and carrying is our part of the job.

Outside, we take yard debris and haul it off the property. Brush piles, cut limbs, leaves, old fence boards and whatever the last storm knocked into the yard. Summer storms come through this valley hard, and they leave limbs down across yards for weeks. Growth that is still standing is brush clearing work, and we handle that as its own job.

Cleanouts are their own kind of job, and they run bigger than people expect. That covers a garage cleanout, a packed shed, a rental between tenants, or an estate cleanout after a house sells. We also haul the light demolition debris a project left behind, like cabinets, drywall and old carpet. What we do is load and haul, so the tear down itself belongs to a demolition contractor.

How a pickup runs

Call or text with what you have, and send a few photos of the pile. Photos tell us more about a load than a description does. We ask how much there is, where it sits, and whether anything is heavy. Then we set a time to come look and give you a free estimate.

On the day, we back the dump trailer as close to the pile as the ground allows. You show us what goes and what stays. Then we load by hand and stack it tight, so the trailer space gets used. Soft ground gets a wide berth, and we set up on the driveway or another hard surface.

Some jobs take more than one load, and we plan for that. A pile from land clearing or a house cleanout can take a few trips, and we say so up front. Before we pull out, we rake and pick up what is left on the ground. The load leaves with us and goes to a disposal site.

What the price comes down to

Volume comes first on every junk removal job. The price follows how much room the load takes up on the trailer. A few boxes and a couch is a different job than a trailer packed to the rails. Photos help here, because we can size the load before we pull in the driveway.

Weight is the second piece, and wet brush, dirt, shingles and soaked lumber run heavy for their size. Disposal sites charge by the ton on material like that. A trailer of construction debris and a trailer of household junk do not price the same. Tell us what the material is when you call, and the estimate lands closer.

Access is the third piece, and a pile we can back up to loads faster than one behind a gate. A long carry from the backyard or a set of stairs adds time. Estimates are free, and the price is set before anything gets loaded. Call or text (423) 260-5675, or send the details through our contact page.

How We Work

How a Job With Three Crosses Runs

From the first call or text to the finished property, here is how it goes.

1

Call or Text Us

Reach us at (423) 260-5675 with what you need done and where the property sits. Photos of the growth help us size up the job.

2

We Look and Quote It Free

We come out, look at the growth and how equipment gets in, then give you a price. The number tracks how thick the growth is and how much ground it covers.

3

We Set the Date

You approve the price and we put the job on the schedule. We confirm the day ahead of time so you know when the machine is coming.

4

We Do the Work

The mini skid steer comes in through the gate and the mulcher goes over the growth. Bigger stems come down first, then get ground into chips.

5

You Get Usable Ground Back

The chips get spread level across the cleared ground. What is left is open space you can mow, fence, or use for whatever comes next.

FAQ

Junk and Debris Removal Questions, Answered

Common questions about junk and debris removal across Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia. If yours is not here, call or text and ask.

Call (423) 260-5675

Do I have to move everything out to the curb first?
No. We do the loading. Point at what goes and we take it from there. We carry it out of the garage, the shed or the backyard and put it on the trailer. Stacking it in one pile first is fine, but it is not needed.
What will you not take?
Hazardous material stays behind. Paint, chemicals, solvents, fuel, oil and propane tanks need a different kind of disposal. Anything with asbestos in it does too. Tires and some appliances have their own rules at the disposal site. Ask about those items when you call, and we will tell you what we can do.
Can you tear down my old shed and haul it off?
Taking structures down is not work we take on. Sheds, barns, decks and anything still standing belong to a demolition contractor. Once it is on the ground, we can load the debris and haul it away. A remodel works the same way. Call us when the scrap is piled up.
Can you clear out a whole garage or an estate?
Yes. An estate cleanout after a death or a move is a common call. So is a garage cleanout or a rental between tenants. Set aside anything that stays and mark it clearly. We work through it section by section and load the rest onto the trailer.
How much does junk removal cost?
Price follows the load. How much room it takes on the trailer moves the number, and so does the weight. A trailer of shingles weighs far more than a trailer of couches, and disposal fees follow weight. We come look at the pile and give you a free estimate before anything gets loaded.
