The mulcher is built for brush, briars, vines, saplings, and small trees. Thicker trunks are more than a mini skid steer mulcher takes. Those come down first as tree and shrub removal work, away from houses and structures. When we look at your property we tell you which growth gets mulched and which gets cut down first. You get that split spelled out in the estimate.

Forestry mulching grinds growth in place and leaves the chips on the ground as mulch. The ground stays covered and the roots stay put, which holds soil on a slope. Land clearing is the bigger job of opening a lot end to end. It can pull in mulching, cutting, stump work, and hauling. Most residential jobs we run start as mulching. We tell you which one fits after we see the ground.

With forestry mulching there is usually nothing to haul. The growth becomes mulch and stays on the ground where it fell. Some jobs do leave material that has to go, like brush piles, storm debris, or old junk. We load it into the dump trailer and take it out as junk and debris removal. Hauling gets quoted with the job, so you know what is in the price.

Yes. Three Crosses Land Services is licensed and insured. Running a mulcher and a stump grinder near fences, driveways, and standing trees is machine work. It should be covered, and ours is. Property managers and HOAs can get a copy of the certificate before we start. If you want it in hand first, say so when you call.
